HP9830A desktop programmable calculator (computer).

Now you can have the HP 9830A emulator for windows 10, complete with sound too (fan, cassette tape drive clunks, thermal print head sound, error pings).

This requires JAVA 5 or Higher. The software may not run on all PC/Laptop setups. Seems to be a bit fussy about graphics chips the software detects.

Note:- On my Windows 10 PC, I had to edit the startup code in the file 'HP9830A.cmd':-

java -Dsun.java2d.d3d=false -jar GO9800.jar HP9830A

edit (as below) and save.

java -Dsun.java2d.d3d=true -jar GO9800.jar HP9830A

Goto 'get code' and select zip file.

Unzip to your choice of directory.

Execute by C:/user/GO9800/HP9800A.cmd (or where ever you unzipped files to).
